We stayed at your hotel with a Gate1 tour. It was our favorite hotel of the whole trip. It is such a beautifully maintained historic property. We felt like we were staying in a museum! We imagined all the stories those walls could tell. The staff was wonderful! Always helpful, pleasant and happy to answer questions. Location is ideal. We would love to return one day. Thank you!

I stayed at Wilden Mann as part of a tour organized by Martin Randall Company. The hotel was first rate. The room was spacious and clean and the ambiance was much better than what one gets at hotels run by large international companies. The hotel location is within walking distance of the auditorium of the Lucerne Festival, as well as the main rail station and the boat landing.

Very lovely hotel, love it's history and location. The restaurant was one of our favorites in town. There was a young Asian woman at the front desk who was particularly kind and helpful in setting up (on very short notice) a trip to Mt. Polaris and back. The hotel has character and the elevators are very interesting and small. Steps on some floors between rooms. Glad it wasn't too hot outside because the fan in the room really didn't keep it cool.

We stayed here through our Gate1 Tour Company. I noticed there were other groups from different tour companies as well. Centrally located near the river, train and bus stations. A very nice farmer's market was steps away on Saturday morning. The hotel is hundreds of years old but they maintain it quite nicely. There is no air conditioning and it can get pretty hot. There was a fan in the room and luckily, we were on the first floor so it didn't get as hot as the upper floors. Windows do open to let in the cooler air early in the morning. We had an early flight on departure day, and had to leave the hotel for Zurich at 4 AM. The hotel made a very nice breakfast to go which we really appreciated since nothing was open at the airport. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Ich war zum zweiten Mal zu Gast und werde bestimmt wieder kommen. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist leider der Lärmpegel während der Hauptsaison, der von der Straße hereindringt und der einem schon mal den Schlaf rauben kann. Das ist natürlich nicht das Verschulden des Hotels und vor allem der an sich sehr günstigen Lage geschuldet. Ansonsten war ich beide Male vollauf zufrieden.

Our second stay at the lovely Wilden Mann. It was great to be welcomed back (after 7 years - excellent record keeping!) and we thoroughly enjoyed it again. We love the history and character of the hotel, plus its location and facilities. The free-standing air conditioning unit in our room was, inevitably, noisy, but we appreciated it as the weather was hot. Tea and coffee-making facilities in bedrooms would be an improvement, but the coffee machine in the lounge area was welcome.
