Things are always that bit livelier in the Burgerstube. You can just imagine how the citizens of Lucerne once raised their glasses to good business deals here. In 1908 the main parlour was refurbished in neo-Gothic style: dark wood with scrolls and bull's-eye panes. We serve just the right dishes to match: local, traditional, home-style fare - prepared with great fondness. Here you will experience Lucerne at its most authentic - the way our ancestors knew it. But did they really eat this well back then?

It's not a mirage: our terrace may be easily overlooked from down below, but once people have discovered it they truly adore it. After all, what can be more beautiful than a mild summer evening spent outdoors?
